Alex continues to improve. His creatine level hovers between 0.7 and 0.9 at this point. Normal is about 0.7. He used to be in the 3s before the transplant! His blood has never been so clean! He will have surgery this week to remove his gimpy kidney which is putting out tons of unfiltered urine. They will also remove his hemo port! Wow, no more ports!

Sorry that most of the recent posts are effectively forwards from AlexCentral - but Ed says it better than me - as he's living this first-hand. Here's the next installment:
