Today Alex was moved to a regular room. He is playing and 'bouncing off the walls' as Rebecca puts it! He is totally off pain medication but is still on the steroids and other meds. He is walking down the hall rolling his med pole with him. The mending process is continuing with an eye on the extraction of his native kidney to be done soon. The catheter remains due to the massive production of urine his native kidney puts out! The transplanted kidney is 100%. Wow!! More to come!!

Alex: continues to improve!
Today Alex was moved to a regular room. He is playing and 'bouncing off the walls' as Rebecca puts it! He is totally off pain medication but is still on the steroids and other meds. He is walking down the hall rolling his med pole with him. The mending process is continuing with an eye on the extraction of his native kidney to be done soon.
